<p>Growing up in North Hollywood, California, I learned early on that life is about more than personal success. My family, my friends, and the community around me shaped the person I am today. From playing basketball in the park to helping younger kids learn sports, I realized that the time and energy we invest in others can make a big difference. Over the years, I have come to see that education is one of the most powerful tools we have to make a positive impact on our communities.</p>



<p>Education is not just about earning degrees or learning facts. It is about gaining the skills and knowledge that allow you to help others and improve the world around you. For me, pursuing my associate’s degree in business administration and economics and now my bachelor’s in business law at Arizona State University has not only helped me grow personally, but it has also given me tools to support others. Learning new skills gives you the confidence and ability to give back in meaningful ways.</p>

For instance, studying business has helped me understand how to teach young people about teamwork, goal setting, and responsibility. Knowledge of law and ethics allows me to provide guidance and advice in ways that are safe, fair, and helpful. By continuing to learn, I can give more to the community and help others succeed.</p>

<p>Helping kids learn these skills goes beyond teaching them to play a game. It gives them confidence and teaches them how to face challenges. The knowledge I have gained in my education allows me to break down concepts, set clear goals, and motivate the kids I coach. Each time I see a child succeed or overcome an obstacle, I am reminded that the skills I am learning can create real change in someone else’s life.</p>
